Singapore Scholarships for Cambodian Students

The ASEAN Scholarships ( Singapore Government Scholarship Program ) for Cambodia is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) (or equivalent) certificate.

The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

Students from Cambodia are welcome to apply for the ASEAN Scholarships for Cambodia to enter Singapore schools at the Secondary Three level. Candidates who are not short-listed for the scholarships will be considered for the Merit Awards.

Eligibility

Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for the scholarship:
  • Nationals of Cambodia
  • Born between 1996 to 1998
  • Have completed at least Grade 10 of Senior High School / Upper Secondary
  • Performed consistently well in their examinations, in particular Mathematics and the Sciences
  • Offered English as a subject in Grade 10
  • Proficiency in English and a good record of participation in co-curricular activities would be an advantage

2012-2013 French Government Scholarship Program (bourse du gouvernement français pour le Cambodge) is officially open to Cambodian students, government officials, researchers and scholars who wish to pursue higher education in France under a full government scholarship. Fields of study: Law, Economics, engineering, Mathematics, Education, French Language, Tourism, Journalism, Architecture, Archaeology...etc. The deadline is 23 March.

Australian Government (ADS-ALA) Scholarships for Cambodian Students

Australian Government (ADS-ALA) Scholarships are now open to Cambodian students wishing to pursue higher education in Australia for the academic year 2012-2013.

The scholarship covers:

- Pre-departure training (for ADS Masters level candidates only)
- Return air travel to and from Australia
- Contribution towards initial visa expenses
- Establishment allowance
- An ongoing contribution to living expenses for the student only. No additional financial support is available for the student’s family, and all costs for accompanying family members must be paid by the student personally
- Full tuition fees
- Introductory Academic Program (IAP)
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the award (for award holder only)
- A Leadership Development Program (ALA only)
