Joint Japan/World Bank scholarship application for the 2013 selection is now open for Cambodians. This scholarship is offered jointly by the World Bank and the government of Japan.

Host universities   Harvard University, Columbia University, Australian National University, University of Manchester and other prestigious universities in USA, Japan, Australia, Canada, France, UK, etc.

Scholarship value

  • ·        Economy class air travel between the home country and the host university;
  • ·        Tuition and the cost of basic medical insurance;
  • ·        A monthly subsistence allowance ($1700/month) to cover living expenses, including books.

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce the opportunity to compete for 2014-2015 Fulbright Scholarships for graduate study in the United States leading to a Master’s degree or a PhD.

Scholarship value 

Fulbright scholarship provides round-trip transportation to the United States, as well as tuition, fees and living expenses for full-time graduate study.

Eligibility (អាហារូបករណ៍អាមេរិក )
  • Cambodian citizens
  • Have a strong academic background and a record of excellence in previous studies;
  • Have completed a Bachelor’s degree (for those applying for a Master’s degree program) or have a Master’s degree (for those applying for a PhD program);
  • Be proficient in English.

✓✓✓ STUDY IN AMERICA (USA) 2013 អាហារូបករណ៍សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is pleased to announce the opportunity to compete for the 2013 Global Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship Program (Global UGRAD Program) which is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State.

The Global UGRAD Program will provide one-semester and one academic-year scholarships to outstanding undergraduates for non-degree programs at accredited U.S. institutions. Scholarships will be available in all academic fields of study.

For the academic year 2013, West Point will provide scholarships for Cambodian students who wish to study an undergraduate program (bachelor of science) in West Point, USA.

2012-2013 international undergraduate scholarships for Cambodian students study in the United States of America (USA).

Scholarship amounts for Cambodian students 

Wesson Honors Scholarship - up to $76,000 over four years 
Students with a 3.75 GPA at the time of admission are eligible to apply for the Wesson Honors Scholarship. This $19,000 per year scholarship includes direct admission into the Wesson Honors Program. It is renewable annually for four years of study dependent upon good academic standing in the Wesson Honors

Program. Founders Scholarship - up to $68,000 over four years 
Students with a 3.5 GPA are eligible for the Founders Scholarship. Students receiving this $17,000 per year award have graduated from high school with honors level classes and a rigorous college preparatory program. It is automatically awarded based on GPA at time of admission. It is renewable annually for four years of study.

Presidential Scholarship - up to $64,000 over four years 
Students with a 3.3 GPA are eligible for the Presidential Scholarship. This $16,000 award is renewable annually for four years of study. It is automatically awarded based on GPA at time of admission.

Chargers Scholarship - up to $52,000 over four years 
Students who have a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible for the Chargers Scholarship. It is automatically awarded based on GPA at time of admission. This $13,000 per year award is renewable annually for four years.

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce the opportunity to compete for 2013-2014 Fulbright Student Fellowships/Scholarships for graduate study in the United States leading to a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. Fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis to qualified candidates or Cambodian students under the auspices of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Program, subject to the availability of funding.
The Fulbright Program was established in 1946 by the U.S. Congress as a means “to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.” For more than sixty years the Fulbright Program has provided opportunities for foreign nationals to study, teach and pursue research in the U.S.
To be eligible, Cambodian applicants must:
  • Have a strong academic background and a record of excellence in previous studies;
  • Have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university for those applying to study in the U.S. for a Master’s degree program, or have a Master’s degree from a recognized college or university for those applying to study in the U.S. for a Ph.D. program;
  • Be proficient in English (minimum score of 570 on TOEFL or ITP, or 230 on computer-based TOEFL), or 88 on internet based TOEFL, or 7.0 on IELTS;
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt readily to a foreign environment;
  • Be in good health and able to undergo a rigorous study program;
Fulbright Student Fellowship grants provide round-trip transportation to the United States, as well as tuition, fees and living expenses for full-time graduate study. Grant provisions do not include financial support for dependents.
The Fulbright Selection Committee will only accept online applications, which will be due by June 15, 2012.
